Research Day Abstract Submission
Research Day Abstract Submission
PAFP Research Day - Saturday, April 22, 2023
Completing this form submits your research abstract for PAFP Research Day.
Abstract submissions will be reviewed and acceptances issued by February 20, 2023.
Acceptances require that presenters are registered for the Research Day Conference by Friday, February 17, 2023 (via the separate PAFP CME Essentials Conference Registration form, when available).
Research projects may include complete works, works in progress or case reports that address any topic relevant to family medicine. Deadline to submit is Friday, January 27, 2023.
Oral presentations are assigned a 20 minute slot (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
Poster specs are detailed in
Research Day Presenter Guidelines
Winners will be selected for best research presentation in each category (resident, student, faculty/fellow), best poster in each category (best research, best QI, best case presentation), and best research presentation overall. Only those selected for oral presentations will be eligible for cash prizes.
All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the Research Day Committee and the strongest in each category will be selected to present an oral presentation in PowerPoint format, as space allows. Those projects not selected for oral presentation will be invited to submit a poster presentation.
