Your PAFP Foundation in Action
The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that functions alongside the Academy as a philanthropic entity that supports physician education, resident and student programming, and public health initiatives. Funded by corporate sponsorships and individual donations, the PAFP Foundation delivers vital programming to all PAFP members.
“It was an honor to attend the FUTURE Conference in Kansas City this year! Thank you all so much for the generosity, planning, and coordination that went into making this trip possible for dozens of Pennsylvania medical students. It is clear that the Pennsylvania AFP chapter has a vested interest in encouraging students to pursue primary care and serves as a light on a hill in a world where primary care is being defunded and financially disincentivized. Thank you. It was career-trajectory changing, and I will not forget it.”
— Thomas Rubino, Medical Student, August 2025
