HOUSE, SENATE APPROVE PCMH LEGISLATION (Oct. 20, 2014)
The Pennsylvania House and Senate have approved patient-centered medical home (PCMH) legislation. Gov. Corbett has 10 days to sign House Bill 1655, which establishes a PCMH advisory council. PATIENT DIAGNOSED WITH EBOLA IN U.S. HOSPITAL (Oct. 1, 2014)
A patient in a Dallas hospital has been diagnosed with Ebola, the first case to be discovered in the U.S. The patient reportedly began experiencing symptoms four to five days after arriving from Liberia. According to CNN, health officials are urging Americans to be calm, saying there is no cause for concern.
