PAFP staff spent this morning at the Milton Hershey School with Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) students from Penn State's College of Medicine. DPW GRANTS EXCEPTIONS TO MA PHARMACY BENEFIT LIMIT (Jan. 10, 2012)
Some PAFP members are concerned about the pharmacy benefit change for Medical Assistance (MA) recipients. The Department of Public Welfare has created a list of automatic exceptions and a benefit limit exceptions form for physicians to complete for MA patients who require more than six prescriptions per month.
