David Greisler, D.P.A.
David Greisler, D.P.A. is a full-time faculty member in Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania. Further, Dr. Greisler is Director of the York College MBA program and in April of 2011 was appointed as the first endowed chair in the history of York College, the Eichelberger Chair of Business Education.
Prior to joining York College in the fall of 2002, Greisler spent 22 in the health care industry. Fifteen of those years were with WellSpan Health, an integrated health care delivery system serving south central Pennsylvania. In his last five years with WellSpan, he served as Chief Operating Officer of WellSpan Medical Group, a then-235 physician, $110 million multi-specialty group practice. The key metrics of "physicians," "locations," and "revenue" grew by more than 50 percent during Dave's tenure with WellSpan Medical Group.
Greisler holds an undergraduate degree in the Natural Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, a Master in Health Service Administration from George Washington University, a Master in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Doctor of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
Greisler's life is made complete through his faith in Christ and the joy (and challenge!) of raising his 14-year-old son Luke.
Soren Kaplan, Ph.D.
Soren Kaplan is the author of the award winning, Wall Street Journal bestselling book Leapfrogging. As the Founder of InnovationPoint, he works with organizations including Disney, Kimberly-Clark, Colgate-Palmolive, Medtronic, Philips, PepsiCo, and numerous other global firms. Soren previously led the internal strategy and innovation group at Hewlett-Packard (HP) during the roaring 1990s in Silicon Valley and was a cofounder of iCohere, one of the first web collaboration platforms for online learning and communities of practice.
Kaplan is an adjunct professor within the Imagineering Academy at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands and has lectured at Harvard Business School, Copenhagen Business School, and with other MBA and executive education programs. He sits on the advisory boards of several Silicon Valley start-ups. He has been quoted, published, and interviewed by FastCompany, Forbes, CNBC, National Public Radio, the American Management Association, USA Today, Strategy & Leadership, and The International Handbook on Innovation, among many others.
Kaplan holds Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Organizational Psychology and resides in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife, two daughters, and hypoallergenic cat.
Brian C. Mitchell, Ph.D.
Brian C. Mitchell, Ph.D., is a founder, director and CEO of the Edvance Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of American higher education through bold and sustainable solutions to the most pressing needs of students and educational institutions.
Mitchell is also principal of Brian Mitchell & Associates, a consultancy that advises higher educational institutions and leaders on strategic planning, governance, master planning, enrollment, core community development, human resources, and financial health.
From 2004 to 2010, Mitchell served as president and the first CEO of Bucknell University, where he developed the University's first comprehensive strategic plan and modern campus master plan. During his tenure, Bucknell established the School of Management, establishing four new majors within it. Mitchell previously served as president of Washington & Jefferson College between 1998 and 2004 where he created a new liberal arts curriculum.
Mitchell received the Posse Award for Outstanding Achievement in Education through Leadership from the Posse Foundation in 2010 and the Charles W. L. Foreman Award for Innovation in Private Higher Education from the Council of Independent Colleges and the Foundation for Independent Higher Education in 2011.
Mark Schuman
Mark Schuman is the President of S & S Management Services, an Association Management Firm. A graduate of Boston University, Schuman is the Executive Vice President of the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians and Executive Director of The Core Content Review of Family Medicine. He is also the Executive Director of the Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut and several other professional societies and Organizations
Schuman is a member of the Connecticut Society of Association Executives and served on its Board of Directors. He was President of the organization in 2006 and was named CSAE Executive of the Year in 2007. He is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the International Association of Association Management companies.
Schuman was appointed by the American Academy of Family Physicians to an advisory committee to its Executive Vice President for a four-year term. He has also served on the AAFP Membership and Member Services Commission and currently serves on the AAFP Member Interest Group Task Force.
Ann Spicer
Ann Spicer has been the Executive Vice President of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Foundation since 1995.
A member of the American Society of Association Executives and the American Association of Medical Society Executives, Spicer previously served on the American Academy of Family Physicians Commission on Legislation and Governmental Affairs and the AAFP Committee on Communications. She recently completed a five-year term on the State Fire Commission, to which she was appointed by former Gov. Ted Strickland. Spicer's fellow chapter executives elected her to represent them on the AAFP Chapter Executives Advisory Council, on which she is in the middle of a three-year term.
Prior to her role with the Academy, Spicer served 17 years in various staff positions with the Ohio House of Representatives. Starting directly out of college as a legislative intern, she concluded her employment in state government as CEO of the Ohio House, where she managed 350 employees and a $17 million annual budget. A graduate of Capital University in Columbus, she holds a bachelor's degree with majors in English and Political Science.
Thomas Sullivan, B.S.
Thomas Sullivan is president of Rockpointe Corporation. Founded in 1995 to provide continuing medical education to physicians around the world, Rockpointe, and its Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education-accredited subsidiary, Potomac Center for Medical Education, are among the nation’s leading medical education companies.
Sullivan is the editor and author of the popular website Policy and Medicine which covers important regulatory issues affecting the pharmaceutical and device industry. For five years, Policy and Medicine has been ranked number one by Google as an information source for the Physician Payment Sunshine Act.
Sullivan is also one of the founders of the Association of Clinical Researchers and Educators, a nonprofit education foundation dedicated to showing the value of industry-physician relationships. He also cofounded the CME Coalition, a lobbying organization for CME providers which has been successful in educating stakeholders in Washington about the value of CME.
Prior to founding Rockpointe, Sullivan was an award-winning television producer and political consultant; his clients included the National Republican Congressional Committee and campaigns for Congress, governor and U.S. Senate. He started out working on Capitol Hill and in the Florida legislature.
Stephen Gray Wallace, M.S. Ed.
Stephen Gray Wallace has broad experience as a school psychologist and adolescent and family counselor. He is an associate research professor and director of the Center for Adolescent Research and Education (CARE) at Susquehanna University and the senior advisor for policy, research, and education at SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), an organization he served as national chairman and chief executive officer for more than fifteen years.
Wallace was also recently appointed to the professional development faculty of the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves as a parenting expert for kidsinthehouse.com. He previously served as an adjunct professor at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Most importantly, Wallace is a high-profile participant in, and commentator on, the modern-day adolescent experience.
Before entering government service, Wallace was a business communications and marketing consultant and served as a political advisor to candidates for U.S. senator, Massachusetts attorney general, state senator, and state representative.
Wallace also appears regularly in national print and broadcast media on issues related to youth development and public policy and has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, Fox News, PBS, E!, and network affiliates across the country.
Wallace is a graduate of Susquehanna University (B.A.) and Bucknell University (M.S. Ed.) and lives in Palm Beach County, Florida and Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
