ADULT IMMUNIZATION LEARNING COLLABORATIVE :: 30 FREE PATIENT SAFETY CME CREDITS
>> Click here for more info & to register >>
"If I had known the vaccine was recommended…I would have gotten it." This is a quote from a shingles patient in an Oct. 13th Wall Street Journal article. Not receiving a physician recommendation is a primary barrier to adult immunization (1). This fact makes more sense when considering that another primary barrier to immunization is inadequate practice systems (1). If you don’t know a patient needs a vaccine, you can’t recommend it.
The PAFP Foundation now offers a free CME program designed to improve practice systems and, as a result, improve and sustain adult immunization rates. You’ll learn how to use a team-based, quality improvement model – while you earn 30 patient safety CME credits. It’s a year-long program to benefit your entire practice.
