Vaccines save lives and protect us from sickness and hospitalization, but they also have an economic benefit.
These days, the economy has most Americans pinching pennies and working hard to support their families. Unfortunately many adults (including health care providers) ignore, or are not aware of, the cost-effectiveness and cost-savings of vaccines.
Vaccines can help adults to stay healthy so they can take care of their families and get to work.
Watch this free CME webcast to get the most current details on all recommended adult immunizations. Then, use reminders and recall to help bring the adults in your practice up to date. Remember too that you and your staff also need immunizations!
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the 2010 adult immunization schedule and the latest immunization recommendations re: Pneumococcal Vaccine, Shingles vaccine, Pertussis vaccine, HPV vaccine and other adult vaccines;
- Review assessments of vaccine safety, efficacy, and changing epidemiology of vaccine preventable infectious disease.
