Learning Objectives:
• Diagnose and differentiate between different types and presentations of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and recognize how previously undiagnosed ADHD can manifest in an adult
• Discuss the impact of ADHD on quality of life and education of college-aged individuals
• Review the neurobiology of ADHD and discuss in relationship to various stimulant and non-stimulant treatment options
• Monitor and modify treatment strategies to address evolving symptoms and life situations and integrate new treatment formulations and therapy to increase adherence and attain full remission

Faculty:
William Sonnenberg, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Allegheny College. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his family medicine residency at McKeesport Hospital. Dr. Sonnenberg also completed his fellowship with the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been in private practice in the Titusville area since 1983. Dr. Sonnenberg serves on the Governors Advisory Panel on Influenza Vaccination in Healthcare Workers.
Edward Zurad, MD, FAAFP, is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and is board certified in family practice as well as certifications in geriatric medicine and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dr. Zurad is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a Master of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Zurad was named the 2002 Pennsylvania Family Physician of the Year and the 2003 Rural Health Leader of the Year. This award is given to an outsanding leader who has organized, lead, developed or expanded an exemplary, multi-dimensional state rural health education program or initiative that benefits rural Pennsylvanians.
