Credit Statment
This program has been reviewed by the American Academy of Family Physicians and was acceptable for a total of 22 Prescribed Credits. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the AMA as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. (When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed hours earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.)

American Osteopathic Association (AOA) members who attend CME activities that have been accredited for AAFP CME credit may report this credit to AOA and receive Category 2-A Credit.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts Prescribed credit from the AAFP.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners recognizes activities approved for AAFP credit as acceptable toward CE requirements for nurse practitioners.
