CDC SELECTS PAFP PROGRAM FOR EVALUATION (Sept. 29, 2011)
The CDC has selected the PA IPIP Residency Program Collaborative (RPC) to receive a 30-month intensive evaluation. The RPC was among five programs selected nationally to receive an assessment from the CDC in May. The program was positively rated by an expert review committee. The RPC is the only physician program selected for evaluation, and one of just two programs selected in total. Click here for more information.

FAIR CONTRACTING MATERIALS NOW AVAILABLE (Sept. 26, 2011)
The Fair Health Care Provider Contracting Act (House Bill 1763), introduced by Rep. Nick Miccarelli (R-Delaware) earlier this summer, will assist physicians in making informed decisions when contracting with the Pennsylvania Blues plans and their affiliates. Materials, including a bill analysis and issue brief, are now available on the PAFP website.
