The AAFP is asking members to participate in the MIG on Addictions meeting at its 2018 FMX meeting this fall. This meeting will help the AAFP fully address the opioid epidemic by fostering support for members interested in treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD), providing connections to resources, and assisting the organization in recruiting and retaining family physicians engaged with treating OUD.
